Organizations & partners

The Masonic Temple of Erie is jointly owned by five owner bodies. In addition to those groups several other masonic organization also meet in the building . Many of them have historic ties to the Masonic Temple and have called it home for decades.

Owner Bodies


Tyrian Commonwealth Lodge No. 362

Tyrian-Commonwealth Lodge No. 362 is a Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons working under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Originally it was made up of two independent Lodges - Tyrian Lodge and Commonwealth Lodge - which merged in 1996 to form Tyrian-Commonwealth Lodge.

Stated Meetings occur on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Perry Keystone Lodge No. 392

Perry-Keystone Lodge No. 392 is a Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons working under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Originally it was made up of three independent Lodges - Perry Lodge and Keystone Lodge (which merged in 1997 to form Perry-Keystone Lodge)... and Lawrence Lodge, which merged with Perry-Keystone Lodge in 2020. 

Stated Meetings occur on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM.

 

York Rite - Temple Royal Arch Chapter No. 215

Royal Arch, or Capitular Masonry is the Masonry of recovery. It teaches that, while often taking a long period of time, the great beliefs of Freemasonry are never eternally lost; that in future time, truths put away for safe keeping will be recovered and restored to the Craft; and that all things will, in due time be completed. Capitular Membership is required for future advancement in the York Rite. 

Temple Chapter No. 215 stated meetings are the 1st Thursday of each month - December's stated meeting is moved to the 3rd Thursday.

York Rite - Mt. Olivet Commandery No. 30

Commandery of Knights Templar (Chivalric Masonry) is Christian Masonry. The lessons of the Symbolic Lodge are given Christian interpretation in the Orders of Knighthood of the Commandery. Chivalric Masonry aims to put those Christian virtues into practice in our daily lives. Charity and hospitality are characteristics which underlie the Templar program. 

Mt. Olivet Commandery No. 30 stated conclaves are the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

York Rite - Jerusalem Council No. 33

The Council of Royal and Select Masters (Cryptic Masonry) is the Masonry of preservation. It teaches that the immortal truths of life will never be destroyed; that the approach of disorder and destruction will cause the Craft to deposit these great truths in a safe and secure place where they will be preserved; and, although forgotten and lost for a time, they are kept for future discovery and use of the Craft. Cryptic Masonry is the Alpha and Omega of Ancient Craft Masonry. 

Jerusalem Council No. 33 stated meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month.

York Rite - Richard Monroe Bard College No. 204

The York Rite Sovereign College of North America exists primarily to be of service to the York Rite of Freemasonry. Constituent colleges must declare fealty to the Grand Lodge of their respective jurisdictions. The pre-requisite for membership, which is by invitation only, is good-standing in all four York Rite bodies: Lodge, Chapter, Council and Commandery or Preceptory (Canada.)

Richard Monroe Bard No. 204 York Rite College stated meetings are the 2nd Saturday of April & September.

Knights of the Red Cross of Constantine, St. John's Conclave

The Red Cross of Constantine is a Christian Order of Freemasonry. Candidates for the Order must already be members of Craft Freemasonry (Lodge) and Royal Arch Freemasonry (Chapter); they must also be members of the Christian religion, and ready to proclaim their belief in the Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity. 

The Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine is a three-degree Order of masonry, and with its "Appendant Orders" a total of five degrees are conferred within this system. Installation as a “Knight of the Red Cross of Constantine” is admission to the Order’s first degree. There are two more degrees which follow, and also the two other distinct Orders of Masonry (both Christian in character) which are under the control of each national (or regional) Grand Imperial Conclave of the Order. 

 St. John's Conclave stated meetings are the 2nd Saturday of April & September.

Order of the Eastern Star, Gridley Chapter No. 324

The Order of the Eastern Star is a Freemasonry-related fraternal organization open to both men and women. It was established in 1850 by Boston, Massachusetts lawyer and educator Rob Morris. The order is based on teachings from the Bible, but is open to people of all religious beliefs. It has approximately 10,000 chapters in twenty countries and approximately 500,000 members under its General Grand Chapter.  

Gridley Chapter No. 324 meets on the first Monday of each month.

Order of DeMolay, Erie Chapter

The Order of DeMolay is an organization dedicated to preparing young men from 12 to 21 to lead successful, happy, and productive lives. The Erie Chapter contributes to the local community by volunteering at events such as pancake breakfasts, raffles, Soldier's and Sailor's home events, park cleanups, and many more. We also participate in other DeMolay events around the state. 

Erie Chapter DeMolay will hold stated meetings on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month (only the 1st Wednesdays of July & August).
